About the Bills
The Wrinkled Bills is a punk-rock band, a blues band, and a country-rock band. Everyone in the band is named Bill: Bill Smith on rhythm guitar and vocals, Bill Jones on drums, Bill O'Brien on lead guitar, Bill Roberts on bass, and Billie Doe on vocals. Most of the Bills are old enough to have wrinkles, hence the name.
The band formed in 2025. They have been busy recording their first three albums of original music, one for each live set. The first album was released in June 2026, with the Vinyl and CD ready for sale. Albums Two was completed in September, and is now on streaming services. The CD will be available soon, and the Vinyl version is currently in production. Album 3 should be completed in early 2027.
The Wrinkled Bills play original music, written by the band. Their songwriting mines the rich lode of Blues and its many variants. The band made the decision to devote all of their efforts to writing and recording these albums before they start playing live. Each of the Bills has been in many bands, and it always seemed that there was no time to record properly once the calendar filled up with gigs. But the Bills will start playing live shows in the Spring of 2027. We hope to see you then!
